Engage Fayette is our expression of compassion and care for our community. In response to Jesus’ teaching and example, Engage Fayette enables us to be both the salt of the earth and light of the world. (Matt. 5:13,14).
Serving our community is at the heart of Engage Fayette. Building upon our church’s deep commitment to global concerns, we are extending our efforts to bring help, hope, and compassion to the neighbors and friends of our community.
We have 4 primary areas, realizing that we are ‘learners as we go’. They are:
1. Families and Youth at Risk
2. Working Poor

Multi-cultural Communities
4. Special Needs Kids
We serve through relationships with community groups, both faith-based and civic, who are bringing practical help to our neighbors in need. Engage Fayette’s approach is to come alongside, to offer volunteer and practical assistance, and to develop on-going relationships with those in need.
WHY ENGAGE FAYETTE?
- Based upon the example and teachings of Jesus Christ, who came among us to serve, not to be served.
- Connects our long-standing commitment to help a hurting world with same heart & efforts to reach our local community
- Moves us from building walls to building bridges – bridges of service and care.
- Develops an externally focused church – from ‘serve us’ to service to others.
- By partnering with existing services and ministries, we reduce duplication of efforts.
