Small Groups This fall we're beginnning a new expression of small groups we're calling "Spiritual Formation" small groups. The groups are designed for 10-14 adults, and the goal is to create a safe environment for people to experience meaningful spiritual growth. The groups will examine the Scriptures together, experience authentic community together, and explore ways to engage in ministry together. These groups are being formed in geographical areas to make them more convenient. Click here for group locations and other specific information.

Fall 2008 Book Selection: Velvet Elvis
By Rob Bell
Quote from the book:"The challenge for Christians then is to live with great passion and conviction, remaining open and flexible, aware that this life is not the last painting. Times change. God doesn’t, but times do. We learn and grow, and the world around us shifts, and the Christian faith is alive only when it is listening, morphing, innovating, letting go of whatever has gotten in the way of Jesus and embracing whatever will help us be more and more the people God wants us to be.”For information contact: Gary Franklin @ gary_franklin@bellsouth.net.
Learning Labs
We will host a variety of Learning Labs on January 28-31, 2009. A series of learning opportunities will be available ranging from biblical and theological studies, spiritual formation, mission and ministry skills, marriage and family and leadership development. We’ll gather together to invest in four evenings of focused learning together as a family. You’ll hear more about this later in the fall. But you’ll want to set aside these dates today!
